OUTDOOR RANGE RULES

HOURS OF OPERATION                     RIMFIRE:  9 AM - DUSK, CENTERFIRE: 10 AM - DUSK

  1. Members must sign the range book before using range & sign out when finished during regular club hours.

  2. Members are allowed 1 guest only. Member must accompany guest at all times.

  3. Members must have valid membership card on their person while on the range & must present when asked by another member. Anyone not presenting their card will be presumed to not be a member & will be asked to leave the property.

  4. No alcoholic beverages allowed on the range.

  5. Eye & ear protection must be worn on the range.

  6. Only full members may use the range.

  7. Junior members must have adult supervision present on the range.

  8. Member must have a valid F.I. D. or L.T.C. in their possession.

  9. Place targets in the center of the frames.

  10. No metal targets, plastic or glass bottles, cans, clay pidgeons, or exploding targets allowed. Exception: Metal spinner targets & silhouette targets may be used with .17 & .22 caliber rimfire ammunition only when placed at the bottom of berm.

  11. Do not fire more than 10 rounds in rapid succession.

  12. Full automatic firearms are not allowed.

  13. Shots must be aimed from the shoulder.

  14. Shots must be into the berm only.

  15. Do not shoot at targets on the ground.

  16. No tracer or incendiary rounds.

  17. Return target stands to rack when finished.

  18. Place brass in yellow containers.

  19. Pick up any trash.

 

INDOOR RANGE RULES

HOURS OF OPERATION:  MON -  FRI  1 PM - 8 PM,  Sat - Sun 12 NOON - 8 PM

ONLY .17 & .22 CALIBER RIMFIRE AMMUNITION MAY BE USED ON THE INDOOR RANGE.

 AIR GUNS MAY BE USED WITH LEAD PELLETS ONLY. NO BB'S ALLOWED.

  1. Members must sign the range book upstairs before using range & sign out when finished.

  9. Targets must be hung from the holder on the cable & brought all the way down to the backstop. Do not shoot at targets on the ground.

  10. Paper targets only. No metal targets, plastic or glass bottles, cans, clay pidgeons, or exploding targets allowed.

  11. No rapid fire. Slow fire only.

  12. Full automatic firearms are not allowed.

  13. Shots must be aimed from the shoulder from behind the firing line only. 

  14. No tracer or incendiary rounds.

  15. Sweep up brass when finished & place in container.

  16. Pick up any trash. Leave the range cleaner than you found it.

 

SAFETY RULES

  1. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.

  2. Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.

  3. Do not handle firearms when anyone is beyond the firing line. All guns should be on the bench, unloaded, cylinders open, clips out, slides back until everyone is behind the firing line safely.
