If you are new to the shooting sports & would like to find out about getting a firearms license or training we have monthly Basic Firearms classes that you can attend. See this link for the next class & other info. SAFETY COURSE SCHEDULE
If you already have a license, but are thinking of getting that first gun & are unsure where to spend your hard earned money there are plenty of resources at the club that would be only too happy to help you out. That's one of the hidden gems of joining a club. The free information that is available from members that have been there before & can help you from making a costly mistake. Guns & accessories are not cheap, so getting lots of information before making a purchase is a good thing. We have a very informal Adult Pistol "League" that shoots every Wednesday at 7 PM. We shoot rimfire pistols in the indoor range all year. If you own a gun bring it. If not come by the club & join in anyway. There are always plenty of members bringing various guns that you can try out before buying. It is run by our Pistol Committee Chairman, Chris Cavaco. There is usually a NRA Certified Instructor or 2 at the range during these shoots so you can ask lots of questions.
If you would like to learn more about becoming a better shooter, hunting opportunities, fishing or archery or you have a son or daughter that is asking you about them you have come to the right place. We have Senior & Junior Firearm, Fishing & Archery Committees that have many members involved that are a wealth of information. We have a bunch of NRA Certified Instructors in many disciplines that would be happy to talk to you & help you be a better shooter. Go to the main page & click on one of the tabs for lots of info. We also have a Youth shooting & archery program every Thursday at 7 that runs from Sept. through May. It is open to everyone age 12 - 18 & is free. More info on the Firearms page.
Thank You for considering our club & we look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions that you can't find answers to on the site send us an e-mail. All of the club's e-mail addresses are on the Contact Us page
