MFG Golf Tournament

at the Berlin Country Club

Perfect weather on Saturday after a really wet Friday made for a great day of golf. We teed off around 9 AM & had a fun day at Berlin. Hole #1 was our longest drive hole & was won by Rudy Kocandrie. We had the 9th & 18th hole set up for a closest to the pin contest. The green is not very large & the front center pin placement was very challenging. John Chase managed to win with a nice shot. After golf we all went to the club for dinner & raffles. Dinner was excellent with everyone having plenty to eat. I don't think anyone went home hungry. Keep the third Saturday in September open next year as we will be playing again.

 

 

MFG FAMILY DAY

We had great weather for our Annual Family Day Outing. We started out around noon with hot dogs & burgers then proceeded to steak tips & chicken dinners. All lovingly cooked by Larry Sullivan. The Bay State Lawn Tractor Racing Association held its races on the outdoor rifle range. Lots of photos below. We continued the afternoon with lots of raffles. The day ended with a moment of silence & singing of the National Anthem in remembrance of the events of 9-11-2001. If you couldn't make it this year leave the second Saturday in September open for next year so you can join us. As always this event is open to the public & we welcome everyone to join us to check out the club & have some good food & fun.
